SVB DAO seeks to capture, build, and support a portion of the residual value that exists in the SVB franchise and throughout its portfolio of world-changing startups. As we look forward, we believe that the time is right for the movement represented by the DAO to take an active stake and role in supporting the startup ecosystem through involvement with SVB.

Those committed to SVB DAO believe in and recognize the value of a bank (a) focused on innovators and (b) stewarded and supported directly by innovators. We recognize that many venture capital funds and startups are not in the same position they may have been 18 months ago, but that provides a powerful opportunity for everyone. The importance of bold, smart capital seeking, discovering and supporting the highest potential companies of tomorrow - as represented by SVB - has been a force in driving economic growth and the innovation economy in the U.S. and global markets over the past 40 years.
