SVB DAO and its community are uniquely positioned to achieve exceptional results from this approach. SVB DAO was initially started by members of VC3 and its community of venture capital professionals from around the world, many of whom have been longtime SVB partners (via their own funds or their portfolio companies). This quickly expanded to a wider community of founders, investment DAOs and crypto enthusiasts. As the core customers and users of SVB services, SVB DAO members are well positioned to respond sensibly and efficiently to the needs of SVB’s startup clients. This is a critical audience to have at the table for any bank serving the startup community.

is the decentralized infrastructure for professional venture capital investing, enabling community-based deal sourcing, diligence, portfolio support and fund management. Its ~200 DAO members in 28 countries are experienced VCs, starting with alumni, who collaborate through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) structure to invest in the best startups globally. All stakeholders - GPs, LPs, portfolio company founders and community partners - have tokens for participation in the ecosystem to create aligned incentives, clear value accretion, and short(er) term liquidity for all parties.
