Purpose

SVB DAO is a community of venture capital investors, startup founders and employees coming together through a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) to invest in Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) with the goal of taking it private.

If not us, then who? As an organization we believe in the power of ideas, people and technology, and that the combination of these things can move mountains. As we watch our startup ecosystem enter a severe crisis resulting from the rapid downfall of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), a pillar of the startup community for 40 years, we maintain that we must take action and not simply be bystanders.

Web3 technology enables us to bring together communities and capital nearly instantaneously with a singular focus. The near collapse of SVB is an inflection point where we can use these unique tools to take action that can help the companies and livelihoods of those impacted by SVB.
